Wazalendo SACCO Commended For Its Corporate Social Support To Members
The 2 Infantry Division acting Commander, Brigadier General Paul Muhanguzi has applauded Wazalendo Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (WSACCO) for its Corporate Social Investment outreach in the community.
Brig Gen Muhanguzi was receiving a wheelchair donated by WSACCO to a one-year-old baby (Abigail) during the baraza held at the Division Headquarters in Makenke barracks in Mbarara City.
Brig Gen Muhanguzi appreciated Wazalendo’s leadership for not only delivering better services to its members but also reaching out to them and the entire community through their Corporate Social Responsibility function.

The child’s mother L/CPL Agaba Baker who works under 2 Infantry Division Engineering Regiment said the child was born with a complication of hydrocephalus and spina bifada. Since then, she couldn’t sit and was advised by the doctors to buy her a wheelchair for easy movement.
